Older Worker Programs

These programs help low-income, unemployed seniors regain their economic independence and self-sufficiency by building basic skills and providing occupational training, as well as actual work experience, to enable older persons to compete successfully for available jobs.

The  Senior Community Service Employment Program helps low-income adults age 55 and older gain part-time paid work experience and provides opportunities to obtain unsubsidized jobs in private industry or the private sector.

ICOA is a partner with the Idaho Commerce and Labor through IdahoWorks and other organizations in sponsoring One Stop Career Centers to provide expanded service throughout the state
