Appointed 7/26/2002 by Governor Dirk Kempthorne to a term expiring on 7/1/2006. Reappointed 7/1/2006 by Governor James E. Risch to a term expiring 7/1/2010.

BIO:

Carole Stennett is the ICOA Commissioner for Area IV. She is a rancher from Buhl, ID. State Senator Clint Stennett from Blaine County is her son.

Carole has lived in Idaho 40 years working as a dairy farmer and cattle buyer and spent 10 years as a single mother, still finding time to help in many community and civic projects including board member for the last four years and chairperson for two years of a Women’s Crisis Center. Carole has also been on the board of Habitat for Humanity for the last five years. Additionnaly, she has taught Sunday School for the last 20 years.

She has been the Chairperson for Twin Falls County Democrats for four years. Carole ran for Senate two years ago and has worked on innumerable campaigns. She was Chairperson for Jerome County’s Idaho Centennial Celebration picnic and Impact Person for AARP for several months.
