Facility Settings

 The Community Care Facilities page provides listing of Certified Family Homes, Intermediate Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded, Residential Assisted Living Facilities, and Nursing Facilities (or Nursing Homes) in the State of Idaho. For more information click on the following links: 

Certified Family Homes

Certified Family Homes are operated by the owner of the residence who provides assistance with Activities of Daily Living for not more than two adults.

Intermediate Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded (ICF/MRs)

An ICF/MR meets the needs of four or more adults with developmental disabilities or related conditions who require 24 hour active treatment services.

Nursing Facilities

Nursing Facilities (accepts Medicare/ private pay) or Skilled Nursing Facilities (accepts Medicare,Medicaid, and private pay) is a facility designed to meet the health needs of 2 or more individuals who at a minimum require inpatient care and services for 24 or more consecutive hours.

Residential Assisted Living Facilities

A Residential Assisted Living Facility is any facility or residence operated for the purpose of providing supervision, personal assistance, meals, and lodging to 3 or more adults.
